2018 Look Back – a Year in Industrial Automation
What to say about 2018, Pendant’s 13th year in industrial automation? Lots, actually. Here’s a brief summary.
It was a record sales year for the 5th time in the last 6 years. The year 2014 was the only outlier when sales declined about 2.5% from 2013. Since 2014, Pendant has averaged close to 50% growth per year.

Seven new clients did projects with Pendant in the conveyor handling space, some of whom did multiple projects.
We continued to grow our conveyor handling segment, from 0% of revenue 8 years ago to ~80% of revenue.
We had record sales to Timpson, our partner in the utilities training segment. http://timpsonllc.com/
We added new team members Jason and Julianna.
Pendant tripled our panel shop space by acquiring a new building next door to our headquarters building. We also started a complete renovation of the main office, with space for new team members as we grow. That renovation is about 90% done.
We had a lot of fun, and it was a lot of work, especially for our road warriors. If you were part of it, we thank you.
So what’s next? Well, let’s just say the days are cold here in Havre de Grace, but it’s heating up in these offices.
